Ah, i thought that was the email list, not a list of pre-orders.

Much, much bigger than i thought.

Which is good.

I can't tell if thats sarcasm or actually 2393... :?

I thought it was around 500 odd.

A low cost low power PCI card slot would be quite desirable on the stand alone vampire board.

Bit weird saying that and there's almost no specs to moan/shout about yet!

That is great news. Paired with a new case and keycaps from a1200.net, it would make a fantastic machine.

Those cases are, to be blunt, vile.

For me, the appeal of having "just" a normal 1200 case and being able to use it as almost a modern computer is extremly attractive.

Maybe call it an Amiga 1400 or something like that.

A "standalone" Vampire board that fits into a 1200 case.

Dream come true.

Heres hoping.

Blundered across a video about the Vampire board on Youtube and then spent hours watching loads of them.

This board has made me want to return to my Amiga, maybe evan sell my old Apollo 040 accelerator to part fund the 1200 version.

Best thing to happen to the Amiga in years!!
