How confident are you that V4 will be released this year?
Given there is less than 2 months left ;) hehe

That said it seems the standalone is out in the wild now so hopefully it is just bug squashing then onto production :P

As I understand it the Vampire 4 is the same unit for all configurations. Will it be possible to take a unit that was brought as an internal accelerator and convert it to the standalone? What about the other way round, converting a standalone to an accelerator?

Guess you could get the standalone and put it into an A600?
That would be a step too far for me, having to pull the guts out of an A600 just to use the case :(
Find one with a dead motherboard :D

I suppose the next question is then will you guys be producing and selling the A600 V2 if Kippa doesn't produce an adapter?

Thanks

No Software Limitation of P96, 1080P was already shown working with V2, but only at 24hz (and it's not fast, takes a fair chunk out of mem and cpu performance)
720P is pretty optimal also on v2 it runs nice&fast for me.
Cool :D Thanks for the reply.

Few thoughts I have had. Can the two IDE connectors be used together or are they just copies of each other? Is the 720p video out a hardware or software limitation? I guess this is final design, but some decent mounting holes for the standalone version would be great (maybe a later revision?) Even j...

Aww why can't we have the A1200 first? The A500/600 have already had a version to buy ;) Hehe
Great news though, eagerly waiting on the price!
