As I understand it the Vampire 4 is the same unit for all configurations. Will it be possible to take a unit that was brought as an internal accelerator and convert it to the standalone? What about the other way round, converting a standalone to an accelerator? It is probably too early to ask! Vamp...

9.3MB/sec is excellent!

20 years ago half that speed was fast. I remember getting 4MB/sec from Seagate Barracudas.
