Estimation of waiting time...

Post by RetroChip » Tue 14 Mar 2017 20:57

Hello,

I am waiting for the possibility to buy a Vampire 500 V2+ card, I am at the 2403rd position.

I have a few questions ...

- Are sales currently blocked?

- How many cards are sold per week or per month?

- Do you send payment requests one by one? Or by group?

-Will I be able to buy a card this year? next year? Or I give up the idea?

Best regards

Hi RetroChip,

Thanks for your message

Here are requested answers :
- V500+ card are still being sold and shipped. Remind that the amount we show is the total amount of people interested into Vampire products.
- About how many cards are sold each week, these statistics are currently internal to the team.
- Payment are requested in group or individually depending on PCB batches ordered. I can confirm that at the moment it's by group to go faster.
- Sure, you'll be able to get a card this year, shipment are faster and faster as bigger batches are being produced. If you don't want to wait, you can still bid on eBay's auction.

Best Regards

I put my name down in July 2016 and got my V600 V2 last week.

It would be nice to split the total number to show a waiting total

To be fair, the V600 is being handled by Kippa who's had surgery on his hand lately, which has slowed things down a bit. Majsta is handling the V500 V2+ and those seem to be shipping at a decent pace.

It was roughly when I expected it, based on when I expressed and interest and the throughtput of the batches.
