Blundered across a video about the Vampire board on Youtube and then spent hours watching loads of them.

This board has made me want to return to my Amiga, maybe evan sell my old Apollo 040 accelerator to part fund the 1200 version.

Best thing to happen to the Amiga in years!!

I came back to the Amiga because of the Vampire also. Gave my Amiga 2000 away in 1995 to my brother in-law. Purchase a 500 and a 2000 this year. Just received the Vampire 500v2, still setting up a compact flash hd for it.

I came back to amiga after seeing a youtube video with somone turning his rasberry pi into a nic for his amiga 2000. Thats when I found out about the Vampire Accelerators. It was probably almost a 6 month wait for my Vampire 500 V2+ but was worth the long wait and worth every penny. I dusted off my Amiga 500 that my father had bought for me way back in 1987 and I'm doing things now on my Amiga 500 that I only dreamed about as a child. Hats off to all the hard work of the Apollo crew. I'd love to shake their hands and just say Thank You!!

Me too! I have had most Amiga's at one time or another. My last one was one of the Eyetech Amiga Ones. Developent was so slow that I lost interest waiting for things to happen, work got really busy and just kind of drifted away. That must have been 7 or 8 years ago.

Recently I was told to de-clutter by my better half so pulled my old A500(1)/600(2)/1200(3 plus a tower) out of the spare room to clean up and sell off on e-bay. A couple of things happened, firstly I remembered how much fun they were to use. Secondly, I found out that lots had happened while I was away. Jens cards, the A1200 case and keys campaign, which I missed. AND the Vampire and A500 case campaign. So At the end of April I put my name on the list for a V500 Vampire and when they become available will be putting my hands up for a V4, probably stand alone. I have ordered a couple of A500 cases from Philippe Langs campaign and when the A1200 cases land at Amigakit will be going for a couple of those too.

I don't know how many people this is bringing back, or at least making active again, but hopefully enough to kickstart some new software development. I would be happy to buy new useful software, I can browse and write on a PC but would prefer to do it on a Vampire.

Keep up the good work and hurry up already :D
