Currently I have 1.6 MB/s over the PCMCIA ethernet adapter, I would be cool to have the same speed with SDnet, but we will see :-)

Might be hard getting to that speed. The chip is 10Base-T only. :)

Of course that assumes you don't "upgrade" to one of the 10/100 flavours.

well, 10Base-T give a peak performance of 1,25 MB/s, rougt 3 time what we have now, so I expect some kind of improvement.

Bax did some good progress on the SD-net driver, now this little beauty reach about 738 KB/s. Thank you Bax !

Download speed is even higher, 843 kB/s. Not bad for Half Duplex, I'd say.

A quick question, is this for the Vampire A500 v2 only or could it work on the Vampire A600 v2 as well?

It is for the V500 and V500+ at the moment. The SD slot of the 600 is not quite the same. But anyways, on the 600 you have the pcmcia, that is still faster that the sdnet.
