Hi! I have a big problem. I was using the Vampire 500 V2+ on my A2K. Was a lot of work but I was running AmigaOS3.9 and it worked out. The New i wanted to use a Plipbox to surf the web. With MiamiDX and iBrowse it didn't really work because after loading one or two websites no further website was loading. So I got a hint to use AmiTCP. I installed it on my system and ever since a restart my system is not booting any more. The Vampire shows the blue light, then the Purple light, I can see the Gold2 screen via DigitalOut but then the Power and HDD lights flash and it seems as if the A2K then restarts and then over and over again. I cannot boot from floppy as it does not load floppies. I can only hear the floppy drive sound in the very beginning but then nothing. I already detache everything: floppy, compact flash and I also got the Vampire out of the board and in again. It is not working but "testarting" over and over again. And ideas? When I installed AmiTCP, it was asked whether I wanted to have this running on startup and that it will change something or write something on the startup sequence, cannot remember exactly. Is this the reason? Did Indestroy my beloved Vampire???? Please help!

I'm by no means an expert but it sounds to me that 2 things might be happening at once.

1. Might be booting to RGB instead of DigitalOut.

and

2. Your startup-sequence is causing the reboot.

Try this...
Power off.
Power on while holding both mouse buttons.
Via the RGB output (Not DigitalOut) you should get the early start menu.
In early startup choose boot no startup.
See what happens. Report back.
