Where and when there will be an oifficial presale/sale queue for people interested in the V500?
I see all the post from groups on facebook and so on.
I mean , will the quantity of accelerators be enough for the demand that the 500 version will have. And I am quite sure that a lot more people will be wanting a 500 version.

Dear Amigaboy,

Don't worry, quantity will be there to satisfy all the demand ;-) just some patience is required.

majsta is funding next Vampire R&D with eBay sales. Once it has been decided to be enough, [pre]sales queues will be widely opened.

Was curious what does the long term availability of the Vampire V500 look like? Is it like buy it now or miss out? Or will these be available a year or two from now? I'm trying to treat my wallet nicely :)

I see no reason for it not to be available in a year or two providing all the parts remain available at a reasonable cost and somebody has the means and will to produce them. Longer term, who knows, maybe one day there will be an ASIC version or at least an upgraded one as new hardware is developed for the range of boards.

So where are we now in terms of delivery of the Vampire 500 2+? If we put our names on the list back in October/November, when are we likely to see one?

Soon! I put my interest in as soon as it came online and I got mine in the beginning of January.

I wish the system would tell you where are you in the queue itself (instead of just saying you have expressed interest) so that I could anticipate my turn and budget accordingly ;)
