OK, dumb question here. What happened to v3?
The version of the Vampire sold as v2 was v3. The actual v2 never left the prototype stages.

V3 was internal name of currently sold V2

V1 = V1
V2-64MB = V2 (never sold)
V2-128MB = V3
V4 = V4

wow this is great news! I am still waiting for my paid Vampire 500+ board to arrive (was supposedly shipped out July1??) BUT now that the Vampire V4 will be available stand along I'm willing to wait for it and give the 500+ board to someone in line.

That is some awesome news. Is there be some kind of mailing list, or any other means of getting informed once the V4 is available?

Cheers,
Jakob

Terrific news gents!

Count me in for the A1200 version as well.

Will check the forum at least twice a day from now on.

While you work on V4 I will fix my 1200 with new capacitors and a new power supply

Great news!
You guys should make a new Amiga now that you have the heart of it!
I'm sure if put it on kickstarter it would be very successful.
It could be like the spectrum next but better.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

The stand-alone V4 is in fact a new Amiga. Next-generation CPU and next-generation chipset all rolled up into one board.

Have you read the announcement PDF file?
