As I understand it the Vampire 4 is the same unit for all configurations. Will it be possible to take a unit that was brought as an internal accelerator and convert it to the standalone? What about the other way round, converting a standalone to an accelerator?

It is probably too early to ask!

Vampire V4 release document v1.5.1 says the DB9 and micro USB connectors are for the standalone only. The standalone would also have no need for a 68000 connector.

A standalone will probably fit in an Amiga if there is enough space.

The size of the V4 board is 123+mm x 100mm. From what i can find, the A1200 trapdoor cover is 166mm x 82mm. I have been wondering how this will work.
