Hi all,

I traded another computer for a working CDTV last night sans controller, and as I wait for the controller to come in the mail, I'm trying to gather info on what my next steps would be with this machine.

It seems like the smartest move is to just buy the V4 when it comes out rather than wasting money on SCSI, Memory upgrades, etc.

What else will I need to get the most out of a CDTV with the V4?

Sooner or later you`ll need a joystick adapter like this:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Commodore-Am ... Sw32lYsYdl
(this exact one doesn`t have a CDTV mouse port so you won`t be able to use original mouse if have one.
This device would be perfect if you can ever find it: http://www.starekompy.pl/joyinter.jpg

Also, if you don`t have original CDTV keyboard you`ll need adapter like this to connect PC PS/2 keyboard:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-PS2-PS-2 ... xy4fBTkuZK
(original CDTV keyboards are quite expensive )

You will need also external floppy drive.

However you don`t need memory expansion or SCSI controller because these are included in the Vampire.
